Terms of use

These website terms set out how Linuo Solar may be used and how enquiries, quotations and services are handled. By using this site or sending an enquiry through the contact form, you agree to these terms and to the lawful use of our information and services.

1. Who operates this website and service offering

This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of Linuo Solar, a Pretoria based supplier and installer serving homes and small businesses from Centurion and across South Africa. The team supports projects in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein and surrounding Gauteng areas, with work carried out by qualified installers and support staff.

Linuo Solar supplies and installs solar panels, inverters, batteries and solar water heaters, together with related electrical integration, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding. All electrical work is handled by qualified installers in line with applicable safety requirements and local municipal rules where these apply.

2. Using the linuo.co.za site and sending a Pretoria enquiry

You may browse the site for general information about products and services, and you may use the enquiry form to request a call back or quote. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when submitting any form, including the site address, service type and any relevant access details.

  • Do not submit false, misleading or incomplete information through linuo.co.za enquiries.
  • Do not use the site in a way that interferes with its normal operation.
  • Do not attempt to access content, forms or systems without permission.

We may use the details you provide to assess the enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare a proposal or follow up on service requests.

3. Quotes, assessments and service scope

Any quotation or scope issued by Linuo Solar is based on the information available at the time of the site assessment or enquiry. Final pricing, material quantities and installation methods may change if the roof layout, electrical setup, water heating requirements or municipal conditions differ from the initial information supplied.

Site assessments, system design, panel installation, inverter installation, battery installation, water heater installation, fault finding and support callouts are all subject to suitability, access and safety checks. If additional work is needed after inspection, it will be discussed before proceeding. We do not promise a saving figure or performance outcome, as results depend on household use, system size and site conditions.

4. Customer responsibilities at the property

Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property, roof space, electrical distribution area and any water heating installation points. You must disclose any known defects, leaks, old wiring, structural concerns or municipal restrictions that could affect the work.

  • Keep the work area clear before installation or maintenance begins.
  • Ensure an adult decision maker is available where required.
  • Secure pets, vehicles and loose items that may affect access.
  • Obtain any owner, body corporate or landlord consent needed for the work.

Where a property in a coastal area has corrosion risk or where load shedding affects timing, scheduling may need to change. Weather, traffic and municipal inspections can also affect completion dates.

5. Payments, cancellations and changes to bookings

Payment terms will be confirmed on the quotation or invoice issued for your project. Work may be paused or rescheduled if payments are late or if materials, access or approvals are not in place. Any cancellation or booking change should be sent through the enquiry channels on the contact page as soon as possible.

If a customer requests changes after approval, the revised scope may affect cost and lead times. We may charge for work already completed, ordered materials or site visits that have taken place. Where a booking is moved because of rain, municipal access restrictions or unforeseen electrical issues, a new date will be arranged.

6. Property, risk and limitation of liability

Once installation, commissioning or handover has been completed, care of the equipment and property becomes the customer’s responsibility subject to any maintenance arrangement agreed in writing. Solar equipment should be used in the manner explained during handover and should not be altered by unauthorised persons.

To the extent allowed by South African law, Linuo Solar and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd are not liable for indirect loss, loss of use, loss of income, or damage caused by misuse, unauthorised interference, poor existing wiring, roof defects, water ingress or failure to maintain the system properly. This does not limit liability where the law says it cannot be limited.

7. Website content, privacy and acceptable conduct

All text, images, layout and other content on this website are protected and may not be copied, altered or reused without permission. The site is provided for lawful personal and business use only, and you may not use it to post harmful material, spam or anything that may damage the reputation or operations of Linuo Solar.

  • Do not copy service descriptions for resale or publication without consent.
  • Do not introduce viruses, scripts or automated scraping tools.
  • Do not use the contact form for unlawful, abusive or fraudulent requests.

Any personal information submitted through the enquiry form will be handled for business purposes linked to your request and our ongoing service relationship, in line with applicable privacy requirements.
