Led from Centurion with a practical approach

Linuo Solar is built around proper planning, qualified installation and support after the system is handed over. Based in Centurion, the team works with homes and small businesses across Gauteng and further afield, from Pretoria and Midrand to Durban, Cape Town and Bloemfontein.

At the centre of the business is Vuyo Phasha, the Managing Director. He oversees the direction of the company and keeps the focus on dependable service, proper coordination and honest advice. His day-to-day role is less about selling and more about making sure each project is handled with care, whether it involves solar panels, inverters, batteries or solar water heaters.

  • Planning that starts with the roof, the load profile and the site conditions
  • Installations handled by qualified installers and electrical work completed properly
  • Support for load-shedding, coastal humidity and typical municipal requirements

Operations that keep projects on track

Naledi Kgosi leads operations and makes sure the moving parts stay organised from the first enquiry through to commissioning. She coordinates schedules, checks that materials and labour line up, and helps the team keep each project on time, even when access, weather or supply timing changes the plan.

She works closely with homeowners, business owners and the field team so that the process stays clear. That includes updates on site visits, installation dates and follow-up support. Her strength is practical coordination, and it shows in the way the team handles both small domestic jobs and larger commercial requests.

For customers, that means fewer delays and a clearer picture of what will happen next. It also helps the team respond properly when a site needs panel cleaning, fault finding or a support callout after installation.

On-site experience that shows in every installation

Sarel Delport is the Senior Solar Installer and brings hands-on experience to roof work, mounting, wiring preparation and final setup. He is involved in panel installation, inverter installation and battery installation, and he pays close attention to safe fixing, neat cabling and practical placement for long-term use.

He also understands the local conditions that affect performance. In Pretoria and Johannesburg that can mean heat and roof layout, while in coastal areas like Durban or Cape Town, corrosion and humidity need to be considered from the start. Sarel’s work is about getting the details right so the system performs as expected after commissioning.

  • Solar panel installation for homes, units and small business premises
  • Inverter and battery setup for better day-to-day energy use
  • Fault finding and maintenance when a system needs attention

Technical support that keeps systems working

Mothusi Mphahlele leads technical support and is often the person behind the detailed questions that come up after installation. He assists with system design, electrical integration, commissioning checks and troubleshooting when a customer needs help with a drop in output or an unexpected fault.

His role is especially important where the solar system has to work alongside existing electrical equipment. That includes checking how the inverter, batteries and distribution board relate to one another, and making sure the installation is handled in a way that suits the property. He keeps the technical side clear without overcomplicating it.

Mothusi also supports the team with maintenance planning, which is useful for small businesses that cannot afford unnecessary downtime. On many sites, a tidy system and regular checks make all the difference, particularly during load-shedding periods.

Customer care and project coordination

Faatimah Latief manages customer care and is the first voice many clients hear when they send an enquiry through the contact page. She helps guide customers through the process, from the initial request to follow-up communication after the work is done. Her focus is simple: keep the experience clear, helpful and responsive.

She works closely with Palesa Mabena, the Project Coordinator, who handles planning details and keeps the paperwork, dates and site information aligned. Together they make sure customers know what to expect, where the team is working and what information is needed before a site assessment or installation can move ahead.

  • Booking site assessments for homes and small businesses
  • Coordinating panel cleaning, support callouts and maintenance visits
  • Helping customers understand the next step without confusing technical language

Solar water heating knowledge for local conditions

Unathi Tau specialises in solar water heating and brings practical knowledge to homes and businesses looking for a reliable hot water solution. He understands how to match a system to roof space, household use and the local climate, whether the property is in Pretoria, Gauteng or in a warmer coastal area.

His work includes water heater installation, checking the connections and making sure the system is integrated properly with the rest of the property. In winter, when hot water demand can be higher and the mornings colder, a well planned solar water heater can make everyday use more consistent. Unathi’s attention to detail helps keep the setup practical and manageable.

Together, the team offers more than just products.
