Why People Join Our Team
Linuo Solar is based in Centurion, Pretoria and serves clients in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Midrand, Durban, Cape Town and Bloemfontein. Our work covers solar panels, inverters, batteries, solar water heaters, electrical integration, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding, so there is room for people with different strengths.
Some team members are hands on in the field, while others keep projects moving through planning, coordination and customer support. We value people who can work neatly on rooftops, keep records in order and speak plainly with customers about what is needed on site.
Roles We Commonly Hire For
We do not keep a fixed vacancy list here, because the roles we need can change as projects grow. We often look for practical people in technical, admin and customer facing work. Electrical work is handled by qualified installers, and any person joining that side of the business must be comfortable working to safe site procedures.
- Solar installers and assistants for panel and mounting work
- Qualified electrical installers for inverter, battery and grid tied integration
- Solar water heating specialists for geyser related installations
- Project coordinators and operations support staff
- Customer care and support callout staff
What A Typical Day Involves
A day on the job can start with a site assessment in Pretoria or Johannesburg, then move into installation work, testing or a follow up call to a client in Durban or Cape Town. In summer heat, on flat roofs or in older homes, attention to detail matters just as much as speed.
Our team also deals with the practical side of South African conditions like load-shedding planning, municipal rules, coastal humidity and the need for tidy cable runs. You might be helping with panel cleaning, checking a battery bank, or making sure a water heater is set up correctly for the property.
Skills And Qualities We Look For
We look for people who are reliable, respectful and willing to learn. Experience is useful, but attitude and consistency count just as much. If you work well with your hands and can follow a methodical process, you may fit in well with our crew.
- Good communication with customers and colleagues
- Comfortable working outdoors and on site
- Careful with tools, materials and finishes
- Willing to follow safety procedures every time
- Ability to keep time and complete tasks properly
Training, Support And Team Culture
People who join us are expected to learn our way of working, ask questions when needed and keep improving. The team is led by Vuyo Phasha, with support from Naledi Kgosi, Sarel Delport, Palesa Mabena, Mothusi Mphahlele, Faatimah Latief and Unathi Tau. Each role has a clear purpose, and good handover between teams helps every project run better.
We prefer a calm, practical workplace where people take pride in their work. If something needs correcting, we sort it out properly rather than rushing past it.
